32 Contact Hours must be completed over a two year renewal period. Only 12 hours can be completed through distance education.

North Dakota Massage Board Requirements
According to the board, licensees who are licensed for 2-14 years are required to completed 24 Massage Therapy continuing education hours. Only 10 hours may be online. For licensees who are licensed for 15-24 hours, you are required to completed 6 continuing education hours every two years. Anyone licensed 25 or more years are only required to complete 3 hours of continuing education hours every two years. For your first renewal, a minimum of three hours must be in ethics. The continuing education courses shall be offered by providers approved by the board, such as the NCBTMB. Licenses expire on January 31st of every odd-numbered year.
Renewal Process
Along with your Massage Therapy renewal application, the board requires a renewal fee of $60. Licensees are not required to report hours of continuing education for their first year of renewal. Licensees are required to provide proof of their Massage Therapy Continuing Education completion after their first renewal.
