Oregon Massage Board Requirements
According to the board, Oregon massage therapists are required to complete 25 Massage Therapy continuing education hours every 2 years for license renewal, with 4 CE hours in ethics. The required 4 continuing education in ethics must be taken in a classroom setting. The continuing education courses shall be offered by providers approved by the board, such as the NCBTMB. Only 10 Massage Therapy continuing education hours may be obtained from a distance learning format. Renewal must be submitted or postmarked no later than the first day of your birth month. You are not required to complete continuing education requirements for your first renewal.
Renewal Process
Along with your Massage Therapy renewal application, the board requires a renewal fee of $155. Licensees are required to provide proof of their Massage Therapy Continuing Education, along with proof of a current CPR training.
