Pennsylvania Massage Board Requirements
According to the board, 24 Massage Therapy continuing education hours must be completed over a two-year renewal period. Licensees shall complete a minimum of 4 hours of continuing education in professional ethics each renewal period. Also, licensees are required to take 2 hours of board-approved continuing education in child abuse recognition and reporting requirements for renewal. The continuing education courses shall be offered by providers approved by the board, such as the NCBTMB. Licenses expire on January 31st of every odd-numbered year.
Renewal Process
Along with your Massage Therapy renewal application, the board requires a renewal fee of $75. Licensees are required to provide proof of their Massage Therapy Continuing Education completion, along with current proof of CPR training.
