South Dakota Massage Board Requirements
According to the board, licensed massage therapists must complete at least 8 hours of Massage Therapy continuing education every two years. The continuing education courses shall be offered by providers approved by the board, such as the NCBTMB. Your license must be renewed by September 30th on every even-numbered year.
Renewal Process
Along with your Massage Therapy renewal application, the board requires a renewal fee of $45. Licensees are required to provide proof of their Massage Therapy Continuing Education completion unless specifically directed to do so by the board.
