West Virginia Massage Board Requirements
According to the board, all licensed Massage Therapists must keep their education current by completing 24 hours of Massage Therapy continuing education courses each year in order to continue their licensure. Of this 24 hours, at least 3-hour must be in professional ethics. The continuing education courses shall be offered by providers approved by the board, such as the NCBTMB. Your license must be renewed by December 31st of even or odd years depending on when the license was issued.
Renewal Process
Along with your Massage Therapy renewal application, the board requires a renewal fee of $200. Licensees are required to provide proof of their Massage Therapy Continuing Education completion.
