Tumors of the CNS
Category: Clinical/Medical Settings
This massage CEU course discusses tumors of the central nervous system (CNS) and their causes. Hereditary disorders, such as neurofibromatosis, von Hippel-Lindau disease, and others are discussed including and environmental impacts that can cause central nervous system tumors. Signs and symptoms of a potential spinal or brain tumor are discussed; including the impact these tumors have on the other structures throughout the body. The purpose of this course is to educate the student on the causes, signs/symptoms, and treatment options available for CNS tumors.
