Georgia Massage Board Requirements
According to the board, each licensee is required to obtain 24 Contact Hours of Massage Therapy Continuing Education which is acceptable to the Board prior to the expiration date of the license. The continuing education courses shall be offered by providers approved by the board, such as the NCBTMB. Only 12 Massage Therapy continuing education requirements may be obtained from a distance learning format. Licenses must be renewed every other year before October 31st on every even numbered year.
Renewal Process
Along with your Massage Therapy renewal application, the board requires a renewal fee of $75. Licensees are required to provide proof of their Massage Therapy Continuing Education completion prior to renewal.
