Texas Massage Board Requirements
According to the board, licensed Massage Therapists in Texas must complete 12 hours of continuing education courses within the two years. The continuing education courses shall be offered by providers approved by the board, such as the NCBTMB. Your Texas massage therapist license expires on the last day of your birth month two years after it was issued.
Renewal Process
Along with your Massage Therapy renewal application, the board requires a renewal fee of $75. Licensees are not required to provide proof of their Massage Therapy Continuing Education completion unless specifically directed to do so by the board.
